Men Style Tips

Just like women, men have also upped their game in fashion. Gone are the days of simplicity and pure boring clothes- plain, dull and simple patterns. It does not cost anything to be knowledgeable about fashion. The key words should be fashion, color, cut and yes of course...comfort! to bring out a stylish outfit, you shouldn't forget that it requires self confidence as fashion is all about the ATT.
I bet many "old"men wish that the hand of time would just rewind and give them that missed opportunity to look strikingly Fashionable and Hot in the latest trends! lol! believe me!

You should stuff(neatly) in your wardrobe a variety of clothes depending on various reasons like.. the occasion.. latest trends.. your personal style, you name it.

The shirts for example don't have to be of the same dullness and design, The designs range in many ways; in style, collar, button and pocket placements.

Branded shirts advertising anything besides a fashion house should be avoided. like those advertising viberiti (match boxes).. lol!.. you get? coz i think its a limitation to one's choice to play around/maneuver it to perhaps create a style statement and be unique. A shirt or even 'personally designed' allows for creativity and you can easily come up with your own personal style with your own preferences.

Jeans/pants have to go with the shirt's design. but again, its all about the Att. you must have the confidence to carry anything you wear.
You definitely will look smart with a fresh and neatly pressed shirt and  pants for official wear(business setting) or a black tie even. A couple of well cut suits, good belts and assorted ties is a must have for every man!another tip is that the belt should match the shoe color.

Light fabrics with well defined seams are a perfect statement in the business fraternity. A decent pair of shoes that complements your outfit or match your belt, to crown it all.

Color clashing outside the business setup for casual outfits is fine.Adventure is the word. playing around with clothes to achieve different styles.
Accessories should never be tacky: tie here, a scarf there, masculine brooches, sunglasses, rings, necklaces, badges, hats, belts... And the accessories must have is a watch, trust me women dig that! not just any kind of watch a CLASSIC watch dude! :)

When shopping for a jacket, make sure you at least make a big splurge on a black leather jacket coz trust me! it Never and will Never disappoint.. though it should be worn at the appropriate weather conditions.Leather jackets specifically Black/brown ones make even the not so attractive men worth looking at. For other types of jackets, look for two-button suit jackets in dark colors.A well cut blazer does the trick too.

As for the big guys, most opt to dress in baggy clothing thinking they can hide their beer bellies with loose t-shirts. while, well, the baggy clothes just make you look "Huger!" than you probably are.Color is the most important aspect in dressing to look slimmer than you actually are. Stripes are your worst enemy. Dark colors-black, chocolate brown, charcoal, navy blue, and dark gray-offer a more slimming look. Browns, blacks, grays, and navy blues too,get to wear fashionable trends while also appearing slimmer. Make sure your suit jacket and shirt are similar in color. Contrasting hues draw attention to the point in which they meet.

The point at which the colors meet will create a line that adds the appearance of your heaviness.,a two-button suit creates a streamlined look that makes your waist and tummy look tapered and trim, and dark colours your best bet yet. Do not buy a jacket that is too loose. A loose appearance will add the appearance of weight. Also avoid buying clothes that fits too snugly. Clothing should fit comfortably with no more than an inch of space at any given point.
on shirts, always rely on vertical patterns and never horizontal patterns. Stripes that are horizontal add a round look and can make you look a lot heavier than you are. The same applies with buttons and zippers choose small and narrow fasteners.

Shiny satins, rayons, and other fabrics with sheen should be avoided or better still for occasions like weddings or of cause if you are an entertainer or planning to be one.Somehow they tend to add weight and if not properly cut and finished they give a very cheap look.its better to be safe so,stick to clothes free from shine.
Fashion don'ts for men:
shiny, pink's (like a tacky pink sweater, pink pants...), cropped pants, flag printed shirts, sagging pants(get a belt dude!), tacky bling-bling, sandles(not cool! unless your just chilling around the house), white socks (unless your a football player-in the field), tight outfit, oversize outfit (just get the right size or get it adjusted to fit), safari shorts(unless your really on safari in a deep jungle) and tacky printed shirts(unless you are on holiday-on a deserted island!)... yeah.
the smart casual look.

When not working,or on dress down Fridays at work or in the weekends, when you want to hang out and dont know what to wear, smart casual is always the way to go,at this point, you can not go wrong with it, for a guys night out, lunch/dinner date, just something casual or really laid back but you still want to look good. it's a neat look for school too.
